Who are Country Music Radio's Top Artists?

We have a three stage artist change taking place. For the first time in quite a while, there are three phases of artists reigning as CMR's most played and biggest artists. Usually, the changes take place with older artists being replaced by newer artists. There are still 90's artists with grand airplay, 2000 artists and newer artists. When I started in CMR in 97, the big un's were: 

Shania Twain

Diamond Rio

Brooks and Dunn

Alabama

Vince Gill

Garth Brooks

George Strait

Reba

Faith Hill

Reba and George are still part of today's list. The late 90's and 2000's saw Flatts, Toby, Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, Tim Mc Graw, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and the mid-2000's: Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, 

Taylor Swift and more. Funny how some big artists were never A artists: Martina McBride, Travis Tritt, Randy Travis and Clint Black. We have some bubbling under superstars these days: Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Band Perry, Easton Corbin, Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Billy Currington and still more. This Country keeps changing all the time!
