What I learned about SEO and web site writing

So you think that creative writing and all kinds of wizardry is the key to a great web site. Not at all. We are building our own search engine optimization for Unique Orthodontics, where I am the marketing coordinator. Web sites have to have meta keywords that the big dumb search engine web crawler looks for. Web sites have to have writing that includes these keywords. You also have to have keywords in your title, header and content.

Like programming a radio station, it's not about playing cool music to a bunch of people, it's about focusing on the PPM holder or diary keeper with a focused format that plays the right music, in a consistent fashion to garnish the most listening from a few people.

Here's an example of all of the information needed in a Country Music Radio web site:

KSKS, KISS COUNTRY, 93.7, 93.7 KISS COUNTRY, 93.7 KSKS, CENTRAL CALIFORNIA'S COUNTRY STATION
