Sunday Driving on Full Throttle County with Rick Roddam

Meet Rick Roddam, one of the funniest people I have ever met in my life, and I know funny! Normally I like to write a little something about the person I am eViewing but I have to share Rick’s bio that he submitted because it's better than anything I could have come up with!

Rick grew up in the 'burbs of Chicago and Denver hoping to someday be just like Jonathan Brandemeyer or Lewis and Floorwax.  Sadly, he never amounted to much.  Starting his career at the legendary KILO in Colorado Springs, Rick completely wasted the expert advice given to him by kick-ass programmers like: Rich Hawk, Don Jantzen, Ditch, Ross Ford, Kevin Callahan and Travis Daily.  He somehow landed in Fresno, CA, where his depraved antics managed to fit in well at another legendary Active Rocker, KRZR.  After 5 years of learning at the feet of E. Curtis Johnson, Rick set off on a series of miserable failures.  After ill fated attempts to host a CHR morning show, a Hot AC morning show and a classic rock morning show,  Rick was somehow given the chance to program a classic rock/classic hits combo for a fledgling group who clearly couldn't afford to hire a better candidate.  After doubling the ratings and forcing a 21 year heritage competitor to flip formats, Rick was sold out by "The Man".  He's now turning tricks for drugs in Fresno's Chinatown District while looking for work as an air talent or programmer.
