Nashville is under water, and we all want to help. The above link is a working post of donation and volunteer opportunities that are currently available, with needs being added and updated by the minute.

REMEMBER: As much as we all want to get out and help, it’s important to go about it in an organized, safe way. Plenty of our neighbors and friends are in need of food, clothing, shelter, water pumps and more.

Clear Channel’s Nashville five-station cluster will host a cluster-wide radiothon today (May 4) to raise funds for Nashville flood relief efforts. The stations will mix it up by having air personalities from each of the stations take shifts that will air across all of the outlets. As country WSIX PD Keith Kaufman posted on Facebook, “News-talk guys on the hip hop station, hip hop guys on the country station. [Ryan] Seacrest on the rock station and Gerry House on the hip hop station. Get your money out yo.” Oddly, a check of all five station Web sites early this morning found not a single mention of the event. In addition to WSIX, the cluster includes urban WUBT (the Beat), CHR WRVW (the River), talk WLAC and classic rock WNRQ (the Rock)
