Memorial Day Programming

We can't sit on our hands this Memorial Day Weekend. Pandora, podcasts or a wall of music will not be able to compete with your Country Music Radio station on Memorial Day Weekend. It takes you, committed to a journey this Spring, to reach out to the life group. The military and honoring the troops is one of the biggest home runs we have in Country Music Radio.

Produce a themematic top of the hour with a salute to the troops into a patriotic song. Several time an hour have pre-recorded topicals. Use READY2GOCOUNTRY to find artists saluting the troops and our Country. Trade imaging with sister stations to get the work parts you need.

COUNTRY 107 SALUTES OUR TROOPS  - AND ESPECIALLY ON MEMORIAL DAY - RED, WHITE AND BLUE - FOR ALL YOU DO - COUNTRY 107!

COUNTRY 107 (This is Staff Sgt. Timothy  R. White, I'm Pvt Joel Raab, Lt Col. James Hastings) SALUTING YOU ONE BY ONE - ARMY, NAVY, MARINES, AIR FORCE, NATIONAL GUARD, COAST GUARD - OUR MEMORIAL DAY SALUTE TO YOU!

If you want to stick your salutes in with a full weekend theme, then the Memorial Day 500 might be just the thing you are looking for.Use a race theme and do a 500 song from 500-1 of the biggest songs in Country. Use your regional area name as the race name: Kansas 500, Delaware 500, etc. All of the imaging is race related. Sound effects of the track, commercial breaks are pit stops. Here's some examples of the imaging you can create for this weekend:
