TWITTER KARMA

One of the biggest complaints I hear from people using Twitter and trying to grow their following is when they get stuck following 2001 people. This is part of the Twitter Terms of Service. Once you have followed 2000 people, limits are based on the number of people who are following you. Follow limits cannot be lifted by Twitter, and everyone is subject to follow limits, even high profile and API accounts. Twitter is really vague on this part but best I can tell, is that you can follow 10% above how many people follow you. Newer accounts can't follow more than 2000 people until follower count gets up to about 1850. So, if you have 2000 followers, you can follow 2200 people. This is why to grow your account you need to continuously unfollow the people that are not following you back. Once you become a full fledged Twitter Addict it’s hard to figure out who is following who or whom without going through their followers page by page one by one. That’s why I like Twitter Karma…strange domain: http://dossy.org/twitter/karma/ Great results and it happens to be free but they accept donations!
Step One: Go to http://dossy.org/twitter/karma/ Step Two: Sign on with the Twitter Account (either way indicated on the screen will work) and allow access Step Three: Hit WHACK. If you have a high follower/followee it might take awhile. So turn on your favorite music or drop the window down and wait a minute or two.
Step Four: There is a drop down menu on the upper right.
Step Five: To Unfollow those not following you chose “Only Following” then click “Bulk Unfollow.”
(in case there are people you don’t want to unfollow, you can see the avatar and twitter name just unclick the box.)
Step Six: To Follow back those following you chose “Only Followers” then click “Bulk Follow."
And that’s Your Twitter Karma 
