Radio Posts 3% Revenue Gain In Q1 For 5th
Consecutive Quarter Of Growth
The radio industry recorded its fifth consecutive quarter of revenue growth with a 3% overall increase in the first quarter of 2011. According to the Radio Advertising Bureau, radio stations saw strong performances in digital [+21%], aff-air [+9], and such key spot categories as automotive [+27%], insurance [+20%], and beverages [+32%].
