With Keith Kaufman and Bruce Logan both gone from their prospective stations this week inside Clear Channel, FTC is speculating that CC is going to employ the Mark Adams, Byron Kennedy formula as in Houston and Sacramento in their CMR stations. KNIX has enjoyed it's best ratings in years with Mark Medina the PD of Top-40 KZZP at the helm. Will CC do the same? The cost cutting would be based on The Bain model of "billing" and we wonder if separate Country PD's of CC CMR stations are safe. If they are OM's and program the Country station, chance are they are safe. Remember April 2009! Is this a pre-cursor?
