Job Throwdown Thursday

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY - My daughter is married to an Irishman, so they have one heck of a party at her home in Sanger, CA every year. I promised you I would keep you abreast of my job hunting and here we go. I had an hour phoner with the VP/Programming of a broadcast group on Tuesday for an OM position in The West in a smaller market. It went surprisingly well. I have crafted the art of asking questions that I believe they want answers to. This is why I post all of this material from the secular world on the new age job hunt. It's vital to ask pertinent questions about the position.

I was contacted by a recruiter in Denver for a social media marketing position here in Fresno in the medical community. This position is great and she moved me to an interview with her local client. I was also contacted today by one of the major casinos in the area that have a marketing coordinator position available. I ask my wife why this is happening and she said: "The drought could be over, companies are hiring and looking for talented people". I guess that leaves me out.

  1. let it rain... Let It Rain... LET IT RAIN!

And don't sell yourself short Chuck. My plan all along has been to wait 'til you get hired as an OM or PD so you can bring me on-board to do mornings. It's all coming together now.
