Zac Brown and the broken down hooptie bus

Kris Daniels and I added Chicken Fried at KHGE from their MY SPACE page in early Summer 2008. They headed towards Fresno to play for fans and to thank us for the airplay. One block from the station on a patented 107 degree Fresno day, their ghetto bus broke down. Our entire promotions team raced to pick them up and ferry the instruments to the station.

I have often wondered what did they do with the junker bus and what does the new one look like? Tonight they rock the 44th Country Music Awards on ABC. A long way to the top of you want to Country/Rock and Roll and they've done it.
