KKWF Seattle hires midday talent and Wingnut gets the nod!

Mike Preston sent this along for us to peruse. Deanna Lee from WSM-FM Nashville and WZZK Birmingham will replace Lola Montgomery at 100.7 The Wolf Seattle:
Deanna is smiling because Mike
Preston hurried up and filled
the position fast!

I’m excited to announce that on Monday, November 15, Deanna Lee will join The Wolf as our new midday personality.  Deanna Lee has a deep country radio background and joins us direct from Nashville, where she music director and morning host  at WSM-FM,  95-5 The Wolf, a Cumulus station.    Birmingham was Deanna’s home before that, where she spent 5 years at Cox Radio’s country stations doing middays and music at WZZK and mornings & music and WNCB.

Wingnut as a teenager
It’s also time to point out something that has been happening since almost the day I got here 1 year ago.  The guy who rules the radio in PM drive every day, Wingnut, has been my right hand man and although he’s been doing the jobs, I wanted to fully acknowledged his position as the Assistant Program Director & Music Director of The Wolf.   His passion for country music and excellence in radio have combined together to help The Wolf succeed mightily this year!  Deanna Lee will join our team as Assistant Music Director, even further solidifying our country credentials.

And finally, with the Fitz in the Morning show signing new long term contracts with Entercom, our team is place and with the addition of new players like Randy Stein and Deanna Lee, we’re stronger than ever, making The Wolf poised to continue it strong performance and growth as we move into 2011!
