Boy that K-LAD sure has it goin' on!

One of my good buddies, Tom Oakes is the VP/Programming for New Northwest Broadcasting and because he likes moose, lives and loves Anchorage. Tom runs the programming for all of the NNB markets including one of the heritage gems in the NNB fold. 92.5 KLAD, NNB's CMR station in Klamath Falls, OR. At the helm is Brian Mobley. The group has built KLAD into the KFDI of the Northwest. A community radio station that just happens to play Country music and reign atop the ratings in this growing market on the Oregon-California border.

Listening to the station, you hear a great sonic sound dipped into the community. No Nashville music garb, just local and live community-based programming that mirrors the Country life group in this growing community. To hear for yourself: KLAD

Folks keep saying this is the next blow up community on the West Coast. From the NNB profile on the market, you can read for yourself. "With more and more families looking to improve their quality of life, the greater Klamath County area has become increasingly more attractive to young adults. Home to Oregon Tech (one of the nation’s leading technical colleges with enrollment at an all-time high), Klamath Falls offers excellent schools, tremendous youth facilities and more high-tech opportunities than many of our contemporaries".

Look out Eugene, Bend, Medford, Redding and others - Here comes Klamath Falls and NNB to continue making a mark with Country Giant 92.5 KLAD.
